Ch. Mitter Sen Sindhu Ji Ch. Mitter Sen Sindhu Ji (1931–2011) was a renowned industrialist, philanthropist, and social reformer. In 1995, he founded Param Mitra Manav Nirman Sansthan, a Registered Charitable Trust, with the mission to provide quality education and promote social welfare. His vision led to the establishment of Indus College of Nursing, which operates under the aegis of the Trust. Ch. Sindhu Ji believed that “Education should liberate human beings from the shackles of ignorance, deprivation, and misery.” He emphasized the importance of an education system that is rooted in Indian reality and its composite culture, advocating for a balance between tradition and modernity.
